I am a passionate horticulturist based in Shropshire. I trained at Chatsworth House garden and RHS Wisley before spending 10 years working in private gardens/estates including the wonderful Arts and Crafts garden at Folly Farm in Berkshire. My personal style is a mix of arts and crafts, informal and naturalistic planting but I am adaptable to any style of garden. I pride myself in my attention to detail and specialise in the pruning and training of shrubs, vegetable and fruit growing, fruit tree pruning, border maintenance and planting, I even enjoy weeding! I am an organic gardener and a wildlife friendly gardener, and member of both The Gardeners Guild and Professional Gardeners Guild.

I have a lifelong interest in the natural world and I'm passionate about combining this with my love of gardens. I believe any garden can become a haven for wildlife with the right mix of plants and the right maintenance regime. There is a common misconception that a wildlife friendly garden must be 'wild' in appearance. Whether a garden is formal or informal, small or large, there are so many ways of attracting more wildlife without changing the overall aesthetic of the garden. My aim is to create and maintain beautiful gardens that are a haven for both my clients and the wildlife they share their gardens with.
